Refund policy

Method Lane sells digital products — spreadsheet templates and the interactive dashboards that accompany them — delivered electronically as an instant download. Because of the nature of digital goods, the terms below apply to every purchase.

Instant access and your right to cancel

Under the UK Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 you would normally have 14 days to cancel a purchase. This right does not apply to digital content once its download or supply has begun with your consent.

By completing your purchase and downloading or opening the files, you expressly consent to immediate supply of the digital content and acknowledge that you lose your 14-day right to cancel once the download has started. Completed purchases are therefore non-refundable once the files have been downloaded or accessed.

Faulty or not-as-described products

Your statutory rights are unaffected. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 digital content must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. If a file is faulty, corrupted or materially not as described, contact us within 14 days of purchase and we will repair or replace it — or, where that is not possible, provide a refund. Please quote your order number and describe the issue.

Trouble downloading?

If you have any difficulty downloading or opening your files, please contact us before requesting a refund — we will always help you get up and running. Files are supplied in standard .xlsx and .html formats and work in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets and Apple Numbers.
